Let the Countdown Begin...

25 days until we leave for NYC! Briana is in New Jersey now with the church on their mission trip. She traveled to Brooklyn yesterday with the group to visit the Brooklyn Tabernacle. She said it was AWESOME! Tomorrow they head into the city for some sightseeing and exploration. She will get a small taste of the city and be so excited to go back, I'm sure of it! 


Last week I bought gift certificates for restaurants all around the city on http://www.restaurant.com/. I got $25 gift certificates for like $2. That's insane! I also bought tickets to MOMA through High 5. The High 5 program is fantastic. It offers reduced tickets to teens (and 1 adult) for NYC area shows and museums. We got tickets to MOMA and to the Guggenheim for only $2.50 each, a total of $10 for 2 museums!  I was going to buy my Metro Card online but I can't so I'm going to buy it when I get to Penn Station. We are buying the 7 day unlimited ride pass so that we can ride wherever whenever. 


I bought tickets to see ABT perform Swan Lake, which is going to be the first ballet Briana has ever seen live. It is going to be so exciting for her! We only paid $64 total for our tickets. We may need some binoculars but at least we will be there.  We also bought our tickets to Eclipse at 12:01am on June 30th!!!! We are slowly but surely making progress and getting things in order!!!! 

Train Tickets Booked!!!!

Did I mention that I love to save money?   I just changed my train tickets so I'm leaving from Cincinnati instead of Atlanta, and I saved $200! I'm totally psyched! I also bought some restaurant gift certificates on restaurant.com! I'm totally psyched about that too, I spent $48.00 and got $120.00 in gift certificates!!!!!
